4G Wireless services have now been restored. Copper (ADSL/VDSL) services have been restored.

ETA for Rural Wireless Taupo services is between 1pm and 2pm.

Restoration work continues with a focus on Rural Wireless Taupo and 4G Wireless (Nationwide).

UPDATE 29/02 2AM:

We have suffered a major outage at our Tauranga data centre with key equipment failing and unable to be recovered.

We are reliant on our Tauranga data centre for the smooth operation of our entire network.

We are gradually restoring services, however this is taking some time as we have to work through physically migrating cables and updating configurations.

Current status:

UFB/Fibre - mostly restored. Please let our help desk know if you are offline

Rural Wireless - mostly restored, except services in the Taupo district.

4G Wireless - remains offline.

As you can see, our remaining priorities are to restore the Rural Wireless service in Taupo and restore 4G Wireless.

Services are slowly being restored.

No ETA yet for Rural Wireless or Rural 4G services.

We’ve had some important equipment fail and are now working to restore services via a replacement unit. No ETA at this stage.

A core network router at our data centre has stopped responding. Technician en route to investigate, next update by 10pm.
